Mar 25-26, 2026 (Wed/Thur) mid week overnighter driving tour through Santa Clarita canyons area

Small group - 9 spots (room accommodations) including tour guide.

Wed (3/25) - 10am meetup behind Arco gas station (corner of Rancho Calif & Ynez) in front of Chili's resturant. Plan to depart by 10:20am.

- hwy 215 north to hwy 138 to Palmdale, hwy 14 to Sierra hwy , lunch stop at the Cowboy Tavern (approx 125 miles)

- after lunch, visit to Vasquez Rocks Natural Area and Nature Center down the road from the Cowboy Tavern

- onward through Vasquez Canyon, Bouquet Canyon, Spunky Canyon and San Francisquito Canyon - ending in Santa Clarita at Hilton Homewood Suites (approx 50 miles)

- dinner at Wolf Creek restaurant (10-15 minutes from hotel)

Thur (3/26) - hotel check out at 9:00am

- head east to Soledad Canyon, Aliso Canyon to Angeles Forest Hwy (N3). South on Angeles Crest hwy 2 down to La Canada and hwy 210 (approx 2 hrs).

- stop in La Canada/Flintridge at 210 for gas and bio break.

- Hwy 210 to hwy 57 to hwy 71 to hwy 91 to hwy 15 south back to Temecula valley (approx 90 miles). Possible stop for lunch on hwy 15 south of Corona.

Cost - $230 (single or couple) for one night accommodation at Santa Clarita Homewood Suites with breakfast. All other expenses, meals and refreshments are self pay.

$50 initial registration deposit to hold your spot. Final payment $180 due one week before departure.
