A celebration of the Porsche 356 and its Air-Cooled Brethren through 1998

This event was started several decades ago by the Porsche 356 Owners Group (POG), and was intended to embrace the spirit of the Marque’s origins as it fostered camaraderie between, and awareness of, the Air-Cooled enthusiast who through the years have kept these vintage Porsches alive and on the road.

The Air-Cooled “boxer” configuration is the engine design that has defined Porsche from the Pre-A 356 of the early 1950s all the way through 1998 and the venerable 993 and its derivatives. Roughly 5 decades of Air-Cooled goodness.

Air-Cooled models have all become classics. And as compelling as these cars are, the stories and the individuality behind each of them and their ownership is even more so. And while this event is dedicated to its Porsche roots, featuring the 356, we also celebrate the younger siblings from 1965 – 1998 with this all Air-Cooled event! So be sure to join us for this low-key fun event.

*Note: This event is not a traditional concours - So please feel free to bring your driver, your “work-in progress,” your outlaw, or your race car for display – Only Air-Cooled Porsches will be shown on field.

However, all Porsches models and owners are encouraged to attend this special event at no cost to you or the general public. Come out and vote for your favorite air-cooled model.

The details;

This is a unique display only event (no judges) no stress...
The cost to register an Air-Cooled Porsche is $25.00 per car (includes event Dash Plaque)
All registered Air-Cooled Porsches will be eligible for People’s Choice voting with awards given in six classes
- 356: 1953 – 1965
- Early 911/912: 1965 – 1973
- 914: 1970 – 1976
- G-Body 911: 1974 – 1989
- 964: 1989 – 1994
- 993: 1995 – 1998

Coffee, pastries, drinks etc. will be offered for a nominal charge by Silo Falls during the morning - Lunch will also available during this event. There is a cigar lounge, and relaxing views from the deck areas located on the property

All Porsche models and owners are invited to attend and enjoy this event as part of the viewing public at no cost
- Although only the Air-Cooled models will display on the field
- There will be corral parking for non - Air cooled models and curated displays for unique models/colors
