We will travel west to the Organ Pipes National Monument (https://www.nps.gov/orpi/index.htm) and Ajo on the morning of April 1, 2023, arriving for lunch at the Sonoran Desert Inn. After lunch we will head south to the monument, with an opportunity to see the visitors center, and hike in the area. Dinner is at the Inn. They have a really nice outdoor gathering area, so bring your favorite adult beverage. Inn website: http://www.sonorancc.com/
Sunday after breakfast served at the Inn, we will have a visit to the Ajo Historic Museum, and a guided walk in Ajo. Lunch is at the Inn.
We have 21 room reserved at the Inn of two types: standard room ($135.00); and three kitchenette rooms ($145.00).
The meal package (includes 2 x lunches 1 dinner & 1 breakfast) is $75.00 per person. This also includes the guided walking tour.
To sign-up/register:
1. You must call the Sonoran Desert Inn (520-373-0804) and make your own reservation for the tour. When reserving, state your room preference, and number of guests. For example, the standard room for two will be $285.00($135.00+$75.00 +$75.00). This does not include taxes. Also, please tell them you are on the Porsche tour. You will be charged as a package.
2. After you have made your reservation with the Inn you must register on motorsportsreg.com to receive any future information and updates.
3. I will follow up with the tour details (meeting location & departure time) as we get closer to the date to my email list of registered attendees.
